UTL Serves as Joint Trustee to Bank of Industry (BOI) ₦274.1868 Billion Development Bond

UTL Trust Management Services Limited serves as Joint Trustee to the Bank of Industry’s (BOI) ₦274.1868 billion Series 1 Development Bond, a 17.60% five-year fixed-rate bond due in 2031.

The transaction marks a significant milestone in the mobilization of long-term naira capital to support Nigerian businesses, strengthen productive capacity, create jobs and deepen local value chains.

Originally offered at ₦250 billion, the bond was oversubscribed and subsequently increased to ₦274.1868 billion, reflecting strong institutional demand and continued investor confidence in Nigeria’s domestic capital market.

The transaction further underscores the importance of the capital market in mobilizing long-term funding for productive and developmental activities across the Nigerian economy.
